ATLANTA – November 10, 2014
The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, announced the formation of its Cloud ERP Special Interest Group (SIG).
The OAUG Cloud ERP SIG addresses all product groups of Oracle ERP Cloud, including Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Oracle Project and Portfolio Management Cloud, and Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. This SIG is designed to promote shared insight into Oracle ERP Cloud by presenting education and training programs, conferences and events related to the use of Oracle ERP Cloud products.
As with all OAUG SIGs, the new Cloud ERP SIG will provide feedback from the user community to Oracle as a direct channel to recommend enhancements and influence future developments. The membership of this SIG is open to anyone with an interest in Oracle ERP Cloud.
The SIG hosts its first informational webinar, "Oracle ERP Cloud and the OAUG Cloud ERP SIG," to introduce the mission of the newly formed SIG, explore the pillars of Oracle Cloud ERP applications and discuss opportunities for coexistence with other Oracle and non-Oracle products, Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. EST.
"We are excited to take an active role in creating a community based on passion and experiences related to Oracle ERP Cloud and addressing many of the common challenges and questions our members face when considering their options for moving ERP applications to the cloud," said Alyssa Johnson, president of OAUG. "This SIG will serve as a resource for both OAUG members and Oracle to promote awareness and leverage the many viable options of Oracle ERP Cloud products."
