Determining the interests, concerns and collective priorities of the Oracle Applications users community and relaying those points of view back to Oracle has always been an important part of the work we do. OAUG members have a powerful voice that influences innovation and the continuous improvement of Oracle products. Advocacy is propelled by your feedback.
Oracle has invited the OAUG and its members to participate in an anonymous product rating and review project developed specifically for its affiliated user groups. The online review is hosted by TrustRadius, a third-party business review site, to collect your candid opinions about using Oracle products and being part of a user group. Those completing an in-depth review will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
I encourage you to use your powerful voice by participating in this project to share your feedback, insights and experiences. Please do take a few minutes to complete a review. Advocate for the important things that could have an impact for yourself, your employer and the users community.

As Oracle Application Express (APEX) has become a 'go-to' tool for web development with Oracle databases, DBAs, developers and managers must consider the security issues surrounding the exposure of a database in a web-facing application. One of the most contentious discussions is whether to install APEX in a production database or to put it in a separate database and use database links or an ETL solution. (More)

Six in 10 respondents agree that the amount of resources going into legacy maintenance is hurting their organizations’ competitiveness.
