The OAUG was one of the first to share Oracle’s announcement of an E-Business Suite (EBS) Roadmap update back in June and followed up with news of Oracle’s July 2017 update. Being able to distribute breaking news like this is a privilege and a responsibility. In partnership with Oracle, we are delighted to provide important information about products, trends and policies.
The OAUG also facilitates the exchange of information between OAUG members and Oracle through the work of the Customer Support Council and our various Geographic (Geo) and Special Interest Group (SIG) communities. The two-way conversations with Oracle employees that occur through these groups are instrumental in communicating members’ collective concerns and priorities.
Members often tell me what they value most is the opportunity to communicate and learn from each other. They value opportunities to gain insights on how others are resolving problems, integrating products and technologies, and embracing emerging trends.
The OAUG relishes its role as a multi-directional conduit enabling the flow of information, influence and news through channels such as:
Many OAUG publications and activities are open to everyone, and I hope you find them valuable. However, these open channels often point to other, more in-depth resources that are exclusively available to OAUG members. If your organization is not an OAUG member, join today to gain access to even more information and connections to continue building your knowledge.

"After the application of every patch, old editions accumulate to the point where it begins to effect performance. To work around this, EBS R12.2 AD Online Patching (ADOP) has a feature that allows you to drop the old editions within the database."

“The big lesson we learned was selecting the right team. . . . In addition to senior directors, mix in people who are actually using the product: people who are creating reports, digesting reports, people who are in the thick of it.”
- Mike Whalen, Technical Business Analyst, City of Arvada, Colorado
