Companies in the high-tech industry have multi-tiered supply networks comprising component and board suppliers, contract manufacturers, logistics partners, and other service providers. Since supplier data is often fragmented and inconsistent, enterprises have limited visibility of the structure, relationships, and capabilities of the supply base. This result in suboptimal decisions around supply base consolidation, multisourcing, shortage management, and spend.
