Accounts Payable (AP) SIG

The Oracle Applications Accounts Payable Special Interest Group (OAUG AP SIG) is comprised of over 1000 members, representing over 825 companies and institutions that use the Oracle Applications Accounts Payable module. The Group provides a forum to address relevant topics related to Oracle’s Financials applications in the Accounts Payable area including the use and establishment of a Shared Services organization and the use of imaging in managing and monitoring AP invoices.

Applications Desktop Integrator (ADI) SIG

The ADI SIG was formed to address topics relevant to the Application Desktop Integrator and to provide a forum for sharing information and experiences about Oracle. The SIG provides a means for members to learn about future enhancements and to submit strategic enhancement requests to Oracle Corporation.

Applications Express (APEX) for EBS SIG

The purpose of the APEX for EBS SIG is to inform and educate our members on the ideas and successes of other organizations using APEX for creating extensions in the context of EBS. This SIG focuses on sharing knowledge and provide a forum for discussions related to creating EBS extensions using APEX for Oracle E-Business Applications Release 11i and Release 12.

AR, Credit and Collections SIG

  The mission of the Accounts Receivable (Oracle Receivables), Credit and Collections Special Interest Group (ARCC SIG) is to provide a forum for users and supporters of Oracle Receivables, Oracle Credit Management and the Oracle Collections products.

Assets SIG

The OAUG Assets SIG was formed to address topics relevant to the entering and maintaining of assets for corporate and tax purposes. The OAUG Assets SIG discuss related issues, work arounds, enhancements, tips, and solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite and Cloud Asset Applications. The OAUG Assets SIG provides a forum for sharing information and experiences about Oracle E-Business Suite and Cloud Asset Applications.

BI Publisher SIG

The BI Publisher Special Interest Group is an affiliate of OAUG. Our members have a vested interest in maximizing their use of BI Publisher in Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and PeopleSoft. We strive to arrange various web and in-person meetings throughout the year to share knowledge and experiences with each other.

Channel Revenue SIG

The Channel Revenue SIG is for all users or interested users of Oracle's Channel Revenue Management application. This SIG will provide users with a forum to: Provide feedback on the Channel Revenue module,ask questions on how to handle certain business processes, introduce new concepts utilizing Channel Revenue, provide implementation lessons and discuss current trends in the promotional and deductions arena.

Configurator SIG

The Oracle Configurator Special Interest Group (OAUG Configurator SIG) is comprised of hundreds of members, representing many companies and institutions that use the Oracle Configurator and Oracle Configurator Cloud/Fusion Configurator. The Group provides a forum to address relevant topics related to Oracle’s Configure-to-Order applications both on-premise and cloud.

Cost Management SIG

The Cost Management SIG was restarted in September 2007 as a Subcommittee of the Discrete Manufacturing SIG, and in late 2010, became the OAUG Cost Management SIG. Monthly webinars are held on a variety of topics, ranging from practical advice on using Oracle Cost Management, solving complex cost accounting issues, showcasing new products and collaborating to help each other do more with the Oracle Applications.

Customer Experience Community

The Customer Experience Community (CXC) is the user community established to align with Oracle’s customer experience strategy, which combines traditional CRM for sales, marketing and commerce with mobile and social networks to enable companies to differentiate themselves across all channels, touchpoints and interactions. This community will include users of the customer experience products that include Oracle RightNow CX Cloud Service, Oracle Endeca, Oracle ATG Web Commerce, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle Siebel CRM, Oracle Fusion CRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle Social Network and Oracle Knowledge Management.

Customizations and Alternatives SIG

The general purpose of the Customizations & Alternatives SIG is to inform and educate our members on current and future Oracle applications Customizations & Alternatives processes, procedures and techniques. Customizations & Alternatives SIG focuses on issues relating to “customizing, extending, modifying, localizations and interface/integration” of Oracle E-Business Applications Release 11i and Release 12. The group provides a special problem-solving forum for those involved in the complexity of customization, or maintaining and upgrading customizations in their applications.

Database SIG

The DB SIG was formed to bring together Oracle Applications database and operating system administrators to learn, and share, their experiences in supporting Oracle Applications systems whether on-premise, using a cloud infrastructure, or using Oracle Database as a Service for the underlying database.

Discrete Manufacturing SIG

The Discrete Manufacturing SIG will address topics relevant to the installation, configuration, implementation, maintenance, support and continued enhancement of Oracle Manufacturing Applications. In so doing, the Discrete Manufacturing SIG will work to improve processes, documentation, software and other items related to the above objectives through active participation in the Oracle Manufacturing Applications enhancement process, development of materials and programs and the exchange of information.

E-Business Suite Advanced Architecture and High Availability SIG

The Oracle E-Business Suite Advanced Architecture and High Availability Special Interest Group was formed to bring together Oracle Applications Architects, Database Administrators and Technology Managers to learn, and share, their experiences in building and supporting Oracle Applications Advanced Architectures and High Availability environments both on-premise, in the cloud, or as a hybrid architecture.

E-Business Suite Applications Technology Stack SIG

The general purpose of the ATS SIG is to inform and educate our members on current and future middleware components as they relate to the Oracle E-Business Suite.

E-Business Suite Functional Analyzers SIG

E-Business Suite Security SIG

he general purpose of the E-Business Suite Security SIG is to inform and educate our members on the dangers and risks of external Cyber-Attacks or Data Breaches and the current and future Oracle Applications technical security processes, procedures and techniques that mitigate the E-Business Suite external attack surface. The E-Business Suite Security SIG focuses on issues relating to securing the Oracle E-Business Suite database, network, application and middleware against Cyber-Attacks and Data-Breaches from external sources. The group provides special education-topics, information-sharing and problem-solving forums for those involved in the complexity of E-Business Suite technical security.

E-Business Suite Workflow SIG

The focus of the EBS Workflow SIG will be to provide education for the user community on the features of workflow and ancillary products. As a group, sharing experiences on the implementation, use and administration of this product will encourage more effective utilization of this product.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) SIG

The EDI SIG’s mission is to form a collaborative group of members and provide a forum for: sharing information, experiences, and best practices in the implementation and effective usage of Oracle’s e-Commerce Gateway (ECG), XML Gateway, and EDI products, gathering feedback and input from the user community on priorities for the future enhancement and direction of ECG, XML Gateway, and EDI technologies to share with Oracle Corporation, and supporting education and training associated with ECG, XML Gateway, and EDI through conference participation, webinars, and publications.

Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) SIG

Oracle Enterprise Asset Management provides comprehensive planning, tracking and execution to support optimal asset monitoring and performance. Its sophisticated, condition-based maintenance strategies for plants, property and public infrastructure along with an integrated asset repository ensures best practices and quality compliance globally. Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) eliminates excess and obsolete spare parts inventories, promotes environmental, health and safety policies, and improves coordination of production and maintenance schedules.

Enterprise Manager for Applications (EM4APPS) SIG

The OAUG Enterprise Manager for Applications Special Interest Group (SIG) will address topics relevant to the installation, configuration, implementation, maintenance, support and continued enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Management Cloud for all Oracle Applications products.

EPM/ Hyperion SIG

The purpose of this Hyperion User Group is to share resources that help leverage your investment in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) through the Oracle Hyperion Suite of products.

Fusion Middleware SIG

The Fusion Middleware SIG represents the interest of Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and JDE Applications users worldwide who are interested in taking advantage of the potential of Web Services and the broader scope of Service Oriented Architecture. Our goal is to provide a forum for the sharing of information and experiences on best practices and effective use of these technologies in an Oracle environment. Also, to provide feedback from the user community to Oracle Corporation as well as to be a conduit for recommended enhancements and influence the future development direction of Web Services in Oracle Applications.

General Ledger (GL) SIG

Oracle EBS General Ledger will probably be the foundation for Fusion GL. Our forum can be the common voice to Oracle to suggest enhancements, vote on features as well as take part in early adopter roll outs. We think, GL SIG is definitely an idea whose time has come.

Governance, Risk and Compliance SIG

The Governance, Risk, and Compliance Special Interest Group (GRC SIG) is a discussion and training panel to address topics relevant to Governance, Risk, and Compliance issues for the Oracle Applications suite. By bringing together practitioners, auditors, consultants, and legislators from across industry lines, this group will provide an important forum for participants to discuss problems, share insights, and develop best practices. We focus on both on-premises Applications along with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM and so on).

Government Contractor SIG

The purpose of the GOVCON SIG is to provide SIG members with access to networking, education and advocacy related to all Oracle products and their use in meeting the requirements unique to or fundamentally enabling the Federal Government Contractor Industry.

Logistics SIG

The Logistics Special Interest Group is dedicated to Oracle e-Business Applications Users who have implemented or are interested in the logistics applications of inventory execution. This includes Oracle Inventory, Oracle Shipping Execution, Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS), Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA), & Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

Master Data Management SIG

The MDM SIG focuses on Data Governance, Data Quality, EBS, Oracle Cloud Apps, Siebel and Hyperion DRM.

Migrations & Integrations SIG

The Migration and Integration SIG focuses on integration to Cloud and Migration to Cloud Applications.The SIG consists of Oracle customers currently using Oracle products and interested in migrating to the cloud. It also shares experiences in the migration as well as the ability to integrate between on-premise and cloud functionality. It also looks at the Platform-as-a-Service components and their relevance to the Oracle ecosystem.

Mobile Apps for Enterprises SIG

This Special Interest Group (SIG) was formed to provide information about the various Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Mobile applications released by Oracle. The puspose of the SIG is also to provide information about third-party mobile offerings and solutions that integrate with Oracle EBS.

Multi-National SIG

The mission of the Multinational SIG is to facilitate identification, resolution and communication of solutions related to multi org and multi national issues - using Oracle Applications.

Oracle Analytics, BI and Big Data SIG

The Analytics, BI and Big Data SIG's mission is to provide education and networking opportunities for over 2,000 SIG members in 60 different countries interested in Oracle Analytics, BI, and Big Data subject matter. Please join the SIG to connect with like-minded professionals.

Oracle Order Management & Advanced Pricing SIG

The OM SIG is committed to participating in the continuous improvement of the Order Management suite of products and to continue to advance mutually beneficial relationships between Oracle, the OAUG and the OM SIG Membership.

Oracle Process Manufacturing SIG

The Process Manufacturing SIG will address topics relevant to the installation, configuration, implementation, maintenance, support and continued enhancement of OPM Applications. In so doing, the Process Manufacturing SIG will work to improve processes, documentation, software and other items related to the above objectives through active participation in the Oracle OPM enhancement process, development of materials and programs and the exchange of information.

Oracle Revenue Management & Billing Application & Analytics SIG

The Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Application and Analytics Special Interest Group is a user-based community to inform and educate members on the current and future functionalities of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing solutions. The SIG enables ORMB Application and Analytics users, subject matter experts, system integrators, business development personnel and influencers Application and Analytics located across geographies to come together and share a common platform to collectively share knowledge and experience with one another on both technical and business issues, exchange ideas and best practices which will benefit the ORMB community.

Oracle Tax Management SIG

The mission of the Oracle Tax Management SIG is to provide a platform for users to be able to share and learn from each other in Oracle R12 eBTax and Oracle Cloud tax. We want to encourage the sharing of knowledge and ideas, offer support and to encourage participation at any of our events. Let’s not make Tax taxing.

The Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Special Interest Group (SIG) belongs to the wider OAUG. The OTM SIG is a community with a special interest in coming together to share best practices, success techniques, lessons learned as well as to communicate our wants and needs to influence OTM/GTM product direction through yearly conferences and regular webinars

Procurement SIG

Procurement SIG members share a common interest in the implementation and usage of Oracle Advanced Procurement products for EBusiness Suite and Cloud Procurement products. Procurement SIG interest also extends to other applications like financials, inventory, and enterprise asset management that are closely integrated with procurement functionality.

The OAUG is committed to enhancing the knowledge and capabilities of users in their day-to-day use and management of the Siebel application. This SIG is dedicated to providing a forum for sharing tips, tricks and best practices for the Siebel users.

SysAdmin SIG

The focus of the SysAdmin SIG is to enable System Administrators to become more effective and efficient in their jobs by providing them with access to people and information that can increase their System Administration knowledge and experience.

Upgrade SIG

The Oracle Application Users Group's (OAUG’s) Upgrade Special Interest Group (Upgrade SIG) focuses on issues relating to upgrading Oracle E-Business Applications Release 11i and Release 12. These issues include Release Mandatory Baseline Patching requirements, technology stack requirements, performance techniques, various upgrade tools, specific platform related information as well as current Oracle announcements on de-support and availability issues. We also cover the 12.1.3 and 12.2.X releases and provide insight as well as experience around what 12.2 on-line patching will mean to adopters. We'll also discuss how Cloud impacts EBS customers and opportunites to benefit from various offerings. The group provides a special problem-solving forum for those involved in the complexity of upgrading their applications.

The mission of the User Management SIG is to promote the use of a common security model across all application modules to provide an efficient method to provide granular security for both functions and data. This common model allows customers to delegate and automate the administration of roles and responsibilities based on specific criteria that meets the needs of their organization. These capabilities support the globalization features built into the latest E-Business releases.

This Special Interest Group (SIG) was established with the goal of creating a discussion forum for all Value Chain Planning users companies where they can connect with their peers be educated through Oracle Development & Strategy teams about new products, request or learn about enhancements & changes and find out about best practice cases.
