ATLANTA – April 23, 2018The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an independent, global, member-led organization that maximizes users’ investment in Oracle and partner solutions, has launched the OAUG Career Center to assist employers in finding the right talent from a pool of more than 44,000 experienced Oracle Applications professionals. The service includes features for organizations and individuals to facilitate employment connections worldwide.

The centerpiece of the OAUG Career Center is a comprehensive jobs board that allows Oracle customer organizations to post IT positions specifically requiring Oracle Applications expertise. Hiring organizations can create and edit job postings, search resumes, review applications and upgrade listings to increase visibility.

“Our market analysis showed an estimated 119,000 positions in the United States that require Oracle Applications skills and an average of 3,500 positions posted each month,” said Christine Hipp, OAUG president. “The median salary for these positions is $130,000 per year. It will be a tremendous value for employers to target market to OAUG members.”

Job seekers can use the OAUG Career Center to create a professional profile, set up job agents to search open positions, post a resume and apply for jobs. Resumes can be redacted to ensure job seekers’ anonymity. The OAUG Career Center also offers a host of professional development tools, from resume writing to personal branding and career planning.

The OAUG Career Center is open to member and non-member organizations. OAUG member organizations receive a 30 percent discount for job postings. There is no charge for individuals to search open positions, create profiles, apply for jobs or use the career development resources. Prospective employers and job seekers can find more information about the OAUG Career Center at https://oaug.org/careers.

“The war for talent and the urgent need to recruit specialized talent is very real for Oracle customers,” said Hipp. “The OAUG Career Center will help organizations target and streamline this process. As for job seekers, they should always be seeking new tools to market themselves in this very valuable sector.”
