The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an organization providing the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, co-hosts the COLLABORATE 14: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community conference in partnership with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest), April 7-11, at The Venetian and Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

The COLLABORATE 14 keynote presenters include Oracle Senior Vice President for Analytics and Performance Management, Balaji Yelamanchili, and Adam Savage, host of "Mythbusters" on the Discovery Channel. Jhone Ebert, chief innovation and productivity officer, Clark County, Nevada School District, delivers the keynote presentation during the Women in Technology luncheon, held on Tuesday, April 8, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Of the more than 1,400 overall educational sessions offered at the conference, the COLLABORATE 14 – OAUG Forum offers more than 500 user-driven educational sessions focused on practical training to help Oracle Applications users gain greater value from their Oracle investments. The assortment of content within 23 educational tracks presents attendees with the most timely and practical information on topics including application strategy, big data, business intelligence/data warehousing/enterprise performance management (EPM), cloud computing, customer relationship management (CRM), human capital management (HCM), middleware, supply chain and more.

Attendees are presented with numerous networking opportunities to further their professional connections and exchange ideas with more than 5,000 experienced peers and experts. Networking activities include the Women in Technology Panel Discussion and luncheon, more than 50 OAUG Special Interest Group (SIG) and Geographic (Geo) meetings held throughout the conference and a variety of social events.

Representatives from Oracle are scheduled to present education and Oracle Roadmap sessions, participate in SIG meetings, provide demos in the exhibit hall, host the Oracle Meet the Expert meetings at The Venetian and Sands Expo Center and meet one-on-one with attendees throughout the conference.

Attendees are invited to download the COLLABORATE 14 App, a new navigational tool offered to help users find and select sessions of interest and build their personalized agendas. The COLLABORATE 14 app also offers interesting ways to collaborate with other participants though check-ins, comments, photos and more, while connecting with Facebook and Twitter accounts.

"COLLABORATE 14 provides attendees the opportunity to gain insight into emerging trends that directly impact their Oracle experience and strengthen their professional connections," said Alyssa Johnson, president of the OAUG.
