As those of you who have attended the annual COLLABORATE conference know, it’s a challenge to prioritize all your educational and networking activities and make them fit into your packed itinerary. There is so much to do and so many things to learn.
Nevertheless, in addition to the wide selection of educational sessions, these are the favorite activities I’m determined to fit into my schedule at COLLABORATE 17:
The Meeting of the OAUG Members is a great opportunity to gather with other Oracle Applications users while getting updates about the OAUG’s direction of education, networking and advocacy efforts for 2017.
Power Hour sessions are highly interactive and focused on a specific topic. For example, the Power Hour – Revenue Recognition – The Times They are a Changin’ session takes a look at the new standards based on the FASB board’s passage of ASC 606 that changes the rules for revenue recognition.
The Exploration Series goes in-depth to cover a single topic end to end. This year, we’ll cover:
Meet the Oracle Experts and Oracle Roadmap Sessions bring you face to face with executives, product teams and developers to discuss specific interests and get a view into what’s in store for the products you use.
Don’t forget the Exhibitor Showcase where some of the most experienced solutions providers can help you discover and test drive time- and cost-saving products and services. Some attendees even say that finding third-party vendor solutions to meet business needs is a key strategy for their time spent at COLLABORATE 17.
