Join with fellow OAUG members during COLLABORATE 07 for the Annual Meeting of the Members. During the meeting, presentations will be made for the OAUG Geo/SIG Certification of Distinction Award, the OAUG Member of the Year and Innovator of the Year Awards, and the OAUG Exhibitor Showcase Best in Show. OAUG President Jan Wagner will also address the membership regarding OAUG strategic collaborations and initiatives that are being implemented with Oracle and the user group community to enhance the value of OAUG membership.

OAUG Community Outreach Sessions — Access, Influence, Connectivity

The OAUG will be hosting special outreach sessions for members of the PeopleSoft and Siebel communities. These sessions will outline the value of the partnership, services, benefits and resources the OAUG is providing its affiliated communities and how the OAUG is assisting in their continued success. Hear from OAUG President Jan Wagner and OAUG Executive Director Steven Hughes, as well as community representatives. Learn how the OAUG and its affiliated user communities are developing educational, advocacy, networking and training programs for all members of the growing family of Oracle Applications users. The OAUG Fusion Council acts as a bridge between users and Oracle Corporation in the collection of business requirements for the development of the Fusion product. You won’t want to miss the Oracle Applications Fusion Council panel discussion, which will provide updates on the current status of the Fusion applications, followed by a Q&A with industry panel council participants from multiple industries representing multiple user groups.

OAUG Geo/SIG Certificate of Distinction Award

The annual OAUG Geo/SIG Certificate of Distinction Award is a program designed to recognize Geos and SIGs that have achieved excellence in partnering with the OAUG. The 2007 OAUG Geo/SIG Certificate of Distinction Award recipients will be announced at COLLABORATE 07 during the OAUG Annual Meeting of the Members on Wednesday, April 18, 2007.

COLLABORATE 07 Wellness Session

Helping you make the most of your conference experience, including eating right, exercise and brain power!

Are you looking for a healthy way to spend the week at COLLABORATE 07? Are you interested in finding out about restaurants and cafés in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center that do offer healthy alternatives? Then join your fellow conference attendees for a discussion on eating right, staying fit, keeping your energy level up and making the most of the experiences you are sure to enjoy during COLLABORATE 07.

On Sunday, April 15, 2007, the OAUG will conduct a “Wellness Session” guided by a local expert on health and fitness. Learn how you can go through a week of eating right and exercise, ensuring you don’t go home with that extra “conference 5.” By learning and remembering the following four easy steps, the only thing bulging when you get home will be your wallet from the money you won in the casinos!

Eat and drink wisely. Is there a better choice?
Think first. How will I feel if I eat this? How will I feel if I don’t?
Move more. Get some activity or exercise.
Use each other for support. I am not alone!

In addition, the OAUG will be hosting a group walk every morning starting on Monday, April 16, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. around the convention center pool area. Details regarding the group walks will be distributed during the Sunday Wellness Session.
