OAUG News

President’s Corner

2007 OAUG President Jan Wagner

2007 OAUG President Jan Wagner

Last year, the OAUG entered into a key alliance with the Australian Oracle Users Group (AUSOUG). This year, AUSOUG and the OAUG are co-hosting the National Conference Series 2007 — Oracle with 20:20 Foresight in Australia. The National Conference Series 2007 will open in Perth at the Sheraton Perth from 20-21 November, followed by Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention Centre from 26-27 November.

I am honored to be participating with Martin Power, AUSOUG national president, in opening the National Conference Series 2007 at the Welcome Receptions in both Perth and Melbourne.

I am also pleased to say that AUSOUG and the OAUG will present an exceptional conference series. We have attracted a number of high-profile speakers and put together the largest agenda of Oracle related presentations in Australia for 2007 by both independent speakers and Oracle’s own key staff. Plus, new for 2007, the authors of the top 15 presentations from the COLLABORATE 07 — OAUG User Forum will present them live via OAUG eLearning as part of the conference program.

It’s not too late to register for the National Conference Series 2007 in Australia. If you’ll be in the area, be sure to join us. Visit the National Conference Series 2007 Web site for details.

 — Jan Wagner, OAUG President
