President’s Corner

2007 OAUG President Jan Wagner

2007 OAUG President Jan Wagner

I cannot begin to express how much I am looking forward to attending COLLABORATE 07: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community, April 15-19, 2007, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year’s conference promises to be the Oracle education event of the year and I hope you’ve already made your plans to join me and over 6,500 of your fellow Oracle users for a week of networking and expanding your Oracle knowledgebase.

Not to mention you will also have access to the educational sessions offered by the Independent Oracle Users Group and Quest International Users Group. It’s like attending three conferences for the price of one!

Oracle President Charles Phillips will be delivering the Welcome General Session Keynote on Monday, April 16, and will discuss some of the key challenges facing organizations today and how Oracle, now celebrating its 30th anniversary, continues to innovate value for customers with a preview of the next release of Oracle Database. In addition, several Oracle executives will be delivering must-attend sessions throughout the week:

Complete conference and registration information is available on the OAUG COLLABORATE 07 Web site. Be sure to register today, as hotels in the Las Vegas area are filling up quickly and you must be registered for the conference before you can secure your hotel accommodations.
