Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) for US and Canada will be extended by three weeks in the spring and one week in the fall. DST will begin the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. Previously, DST began the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in October. For your convenience, the following resources are available to access DST information for your applicable product area:
This change to DST may affect some Oracle Applications. Oracle Applications experts have reviewed and assessed the new DST requirements with Oracle Applications. Configuration or code changes required to meet the new DST requirements will be (or have already been) announced by product line and released in corresponding support Web sites and/or publications. These updates will address Oracle Application issues only and will not address third-party systems, such as operating systems, or third-party interfaces. Please be sure that you verify individual DST requirements for all outside vendors associated with your solution. A variety of Webcasts have been scheduled to provide an opportunity for you to interact with a support professional, receive information about DST changes, and ask questions through a live Q&A session. To register and receive more information about presentation times, please access the individual Advisor Webcast pages listed below:
