Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise Supplier Invoice Payment Survey

Oracle Corporation has requested input from the user group community to help the Oracle Applications development team better understand how user organizations group supplier invoices for payment. If your organization is an Oracle E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft Enterprise user that has implemented shared service centers to process supplier disbursements, please take a moment and respond to the questions below.

Please e-mail your responses directly to Neil Ramsay at neil.ramsay@oracle.com. Responses are due no later than Friday, May 4, 2007.

  1. Please indicate whether your organization has implemented shared service centers to process supplier disbursements in Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, or both.
  2. How many legal entities does your supplier disbursements shared service center cater for?
  3. How many countries does your supplier disbursements shared service center cater for?
  4. Do the countries catered for by the shared service center have different financial reporting currencies?
  5. Are payments disbursed from a single centralized bank account; one bank account per country; one bank account per legal entity; or some other method — please specify?
  6. Does a single payment (for example, a check or an individual funds transfer payment amount) settle invoices that were issued by a supplier to more than one of your legal entities?
  7. Does a single payment settle invoices that were issued by a supplier to more than one of your legal entities located in different countries?
  8. Does a single payment settle invoices that were issued by a supplier to more than one of your legal entities located in different currency zones?
  9. If the answer to 7 or 8 is yes, please detail any limitations or issues that you have encountered when grouping invoices that were issued to different legal entities in a single payment.
  10. In the case that the Oracle Applications development team has follow-up questions, would you allow someone from Oracle to contact you directly? If yes, please indicate your preferred contact method (e-mail or phone), contact information and your time zone and appropriate contact times (if applicable).

Thank you for taking the time to respond. The Oracle Applications development team appreciates your input!
