Oracle President Charles Phillips Unveils Oracle Application Integration Architecture at COLLABORATE 07
During his keynote presentation on Monday, April 16, at
COLLABORATE 07: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community,
Oracle President Charles Phillips shared with conference attendees the outline for
Oracle Application Integration Architecture,
an open, standards-based platform for business process management across Oracle, third-party and custom applications.
“The OAUG is pleased with Oracle’s Application Integration Architecture because the pre-built integration features reduce the cost and effort previously involved in independently integrating applications,” said Jan Wagner, OAUG president. “Application Integration Architecture provides an architectural footprint for users to integrate other applications with Oracle products in order to receive the most value for their technology investments.”
As part of the Oracle Application Integration Architecture, Oracle is delivering pre-built integrations across Oracle ERP, CRM and industry applications using a common object model and an open, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) based platform.
