Oracle Seeks Participants on Business Intelligence Customer Advisory BoardOracle Applications Development is creating a customer advisory board (CAB) for Oracle Business Intelligence Applications. The CAB will work closely with the Oracle Development team to validate the strategic direction, provide and review requirements, review designs, evaluate architectural blueprints, including data warehousing options, deployment options, and provide timely feedback on usability, deployment and ownership experience. Customers will be able to contribute and influence critical decisions to make the release a success. ObjectivesThe objective of the next Oracle release is to deliver industry-standard analytics to meet the enterprise reporting and analytics needs for its customers, including operational intelligence. Type of Customers NeededIn the near term, Oracle is looking for large Oracle E-Business Suite customers with complex reporting needs, including those who have implementations across more than one major functional area or have one or more Oracle Applications instance. Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (formerly Siebel Analytics), Oracle Warehouse Builder or Daily Business Intelligence is desirable, but not essential. What is Expected?CAB participants would be required to review material, share best practices and provide feedback through surveys, Web conferences and meetings. On an as-needed basis, they may also make presentations or participate in short usability tests. Participants and their organizations would need to sign the standard Customer Participation Confidentiality Agreement. If you feel your organization has similar needs, is looking for a single integrated solution for your reporting and analytics or are planning a data warehouse on Oracle Applications and would like to serve on the CAB as an advisor, please contact Hal Kazi, group product manager, Oracle, at hal.kazi@oracle.com for further details. |
